Gijs Postma

Gijs Postma is MT-member Energy Markets Directorate at the Ministery of Economic Affairs & Climate Policy where he is responsible for hydrogen, gas & oil markets. Prior to that, he worked for 18 years at Eneco. In his initial years he took on the roles of Innovation Officer Eneco Holding and Business Unit Director Eneco Infra, where he managed the development of energy neutral zones and buildings amongst other responsibilities. Later on, he served as the Commercial Director in the “mature” business of district heating networks and WKO (Heat and Cold Storage) systems at Eneco Warmte & Koude for 5 years.
