VNCI presents Route map 2050 ‘Chemistry for Climate’

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions requires action from chemical industry and government. To achieve an 80% – 95% reduction in greenhouse gases by 2050 investments must be made now. Both for the short term and for further development of technology after 2030.

In order to successfully contribute to the enormous challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80-95 percent by 2050 as a chemical industry, investment is now required.

The sector can not solely focus on the short term but must also fully devote itself to the further development of the technologies that are needed for 2050 but that are not yet profitable. An internationally competitive playing field and cooperation with the government are crucial. Download VNCI Routemap to 2050.
